That’s Pinterest…ing Rejuvenating Edition

This is my third Pinterest challenge in October and for the 31 Days of Mental Health. This week's theme is rejuvenating.  It's essential for good mental health to relax and rejuvenate every now and then.

1. Massage or a spa day. Wouldn't it be lovely to be able to go to a spa or masseuse every week but for most people this is unrealistic. You can however have a spa time out at home like this one I found. Google is your friend :)

2. A garden escape. For those of us without a garden or yard this can be a little escape near a window or on your balcony. A hammock, comfy chair or cushion, some plants or candles and viola your own little relaxing escape.

3. Reading. Escaping to another world in a book. It's relaxing and can be done anywhere. My favourite reading place is bed, at the beach or outside in my outside escape.

4. Naps. How adorable is this photo of a dad and his little one! Naps are especially wonderful when shared with a loved one.

5. Lastly the reason I miss having a bathtub, a bath by candle light. With children running around demanding attention this should only be done when they are tucked up in bed or being looked after by someone else. Also can be included in your spa and reading time. Relaxing to the max!

I'm joining up with Tina and a bunch of other Pinterest addicted bloggers. Check them out here.

  1. I dream of having a hammock!

I do attempt to do the bath and book and burning oils thing even while kids home (with hubby supposed to be wrangling) and nothing worse than someone bursting in just to have a look and chat. Hellooooo I see you the other 23 hrs and 30 min of the day!

  2. The photo of the dad and bub is adorable! And you just reminded me that my hubby still hasn't hung up my hammock. I bought it ages ago but it's been stored under my bed! Now that the weather is warming up, it's time to hang it!

  5. I love your list and pins. I escape regularly in a book, but don't do the others very often. I think I need to!

  6. Gorgeous pins! Inspired me to pick {kind of} a theme for mine this week, making them seem {slightly} less random. :)
